Horsing Around

This friendly fellow really wanted some attention. It took me a while to get the angle I wanted but I finally settled on holding the camera out and underneath him. The lens was set at 10mm to achieve the odd proportions. I want to thank all the people who have left comments on my previous few entries. I’ve fallen way behind on returning emails and visiting your blogs. Hopefully I’ll be able to get caught up soon.

Also, in case you missed it, I’ve made another video available for free download. It’s the Making of “Unkempt” and you can get it here.

It's like some bizarre animal with the proportions. Really fun shot. :-)

I like this effect Andy, tho it tends to make the horse look sickly..lol

Weird but very cool angle. I like the approach taken and it sure has turned out well here. Initially I thought shame about the fence, but then I think it adds to the effect with the horse almost leaning over it to you.

fantastic wide angle shot – I guess you must have been very close, and stopped down a lot to get such deep DoF
